HELIOCARE 360° Gel Oil-Free SPF50 is an ultra-light, mattifying gel that absorbs quickly into the skin, providing a dry-touch, matte finish. Ideal for oily or combination skin, it offers full-spectrum protection against UVB and UVA (SPF50 & PA++++), as well as from visible light and infrared-A radiation.
Formulated with Fernblock®+ a powerful antioxidant derived from the fern Polypodium leucotomos, it helps protect against oxidative stress and supports skin health. How to use
How to use
Shake before use. Apply approximately two full finger lengths of product to the face ensuring that you apply product evenly. Make sure you get full coverage up to the hairline and around the eyes, taking care not to get product into the eyes.
Reapply every 2 hours during periods of high exposure, after sweating, swimming or towelling the skin.

Older lady who still suffers oily skin and holidays a lot! This was recommended to me by my beautician. I wear it every day.
Its good as both a moisturiser and sunscreen and I just keep reordering it as its so good and a decent price.
I have used this for about five years and it was my favourite and I loved it so much. The last four purchases. I have found that almost immediately after application/during application it peels off and it leaves dried up small bits of the formula in my eyebrows and in my hairline and on my face like dry skin/dried up PVA glue – I’m so upset that I’m gonna have to find a different SPF as this one was my absolute favourite, it was Matt non-shiny and left a nice colour almost like a BB cream. I have oily and acne prone skin and this used to be my godsend – please bring back the old formula!!!

Sunscreen pilling or clumping can happen for several reasons, especially when reapplying or layering it with other skincare products. It often occurs if previous products (like moisturisers or serums) haven’t fully absorbed, particularly those with oils or silicones. Applying too much sunscreen at once or rubbing it in too vigorously can also cause it to ball up. Additionally, reapplying on damp or sweaty skin may prevent the sunscreen from spreading evenly, leading to pilling.
You may also see a change with how the skin interacts with a product due to changes within your skin.

Heliocare 360 Gel Oil Free SPF50 is the best sunscreen for me! I first tried it over eight years ago and have used it ever since. It is one of the very few sunscreens available that protects from UVA and UVA, as well as HEVL and IR. Great product.
I've been using this for years now. It's a fantastic skin protection and I've also used it as a primer, too.
It works well with other beauty products such as BB cream and tinted moisturisers. I also fix this with my foundation or tinted moisturiser on my hand and massage into my face.
My Daughter has acne. She uses this too.
Only thing I do not like about it is, your face will glow white under UV lights in pubs, Clubs and entertainment areas, where they use UV lights. Especially if you haven't mixed it with and tint or foundations.
Got this because they discontinued the advanced gel! Horrible! It’s a much runnier texture, it’s doesn’t leave a nice bb effect glow on the skin. It peels when foundation is applied. Unfortunately after being loyal to Heliocare for a decade, I’ll have to buy elsewhere. They should have kept the advanced range and just improved it. You’ve alienated a ton of your customers as a result.

I have very oily skin and have trouble finding facial sunscreens that are properly mattifying. This one is, It’s light in application with a sheer tint so not much coverage but no white cast. I can put my foundation over the top. I also have the Heliocare 360 Gel Oil Free SPF50 in Beige which is more like a foundation if i want more coverage.
This product is NOTHING on the advanced gel. So upset it has been discontinued. Nothing will ever beat the advanced gel 😭
I really like this sunscreen. It has got good UVA and B coverage and is non oily. Please don't stop making it.
I have been using Heliocare products for over 10 years and particularly liked the Advanced Gel as it sat nicely on my skin with a lovely texture as well as protecting from uvb and uva rays. I wore it 365 days a year. I recently purchased the Gel Oil Free as the Advanced Gel has been discontinued but it is nowhere near as good, doesn't have a nice sheen or colour. Please bring back the Advanced Gel!!!
Yes I loved it but for somone who has oily skin. This is definitely not a matte finish. It would be natural finish or glow finish. I would give it a 6 on the glow finish 3 would be matte to me like if you didn’t put on product. I was hoping this formulation would be good. Really excited about it. But I tried everything to make it matte and nothing worked. I feel like they should take the formulation from Australian gold tinted spf50. That was matte finish. This was not. I’d love to know what the company thinks.
